“Are you sexable?”- a question asked when encountering disability, alongside “what’s your kink?” 

As the disabled body swings back and forth between being an object of repulsion and fetishistic desire, can it ever find tenderness or “just sex” amidst wheelchairs, assistive devices and medical equipment, open sores, tricky bones, slurred moans and surprising bowel movements.
